Solution-focused Therapy for Individuals, Couples and Families

Palatine Ridge Counseling is a team of solution-focused therapists whose goal is to help you identify and remove the barriers that are keeping you stuck. While we can’t change the difficulties of the past, we can work together to better understand and resolve challenges that are keeping you from experiencing the life that you want.

Our solutions-based approach provides the support, guidance and tools you need to overcome difficult situations and build a healthier life and healthier relationships with your loved ones.

Services

We are uniquely qualified to help adults, young adults, adolescents and couples to navigate life’s challenges. Our experienced counselors have trained at some of the most highly regarded universities. Our team has years of hospital and agency experience as well. We are focused on helping you gain clarity into your own patterns of behavior and unlock the potential for meaningful change.

We offer individual therapy, couples and family therapy, as well as group counseling. We help our clients cope with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, mood disorders, life transitions, marital problems and other challenges. Our founder Jean Garrity Arnold, MS, LMFT, works directly with every new client to match your challenges to the right therapist on our team.

Palatine Ridge Counseling therapists trained to work with a wide range
of emotional and behavioral issues.

Adolescent Therapy

At Palatine Ridge Counseling we build our client relationships on trust. When working with adolescents and their families, we use a unique approach. We involve a two-person therapist team. One therapist works directly with the adolescent. A second therapist works with the adolescent’s parents and sometimes counsels the parents and adolescent together.

This multi-dimensional approach builds a bond of trust and protects the client/therapist alliance, while offering parents input and influence into their child’s treatment. Our team is led by a licensed family therapist with expertise in helping families navigate challenges and learn skills that strengthen and improve relationships and emotional well-being. Our expertise includes

  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Social stress
  • Past Trauma
  • Emotional regulation
  • Low self-esteem
  • Mood disorders
  • Grief and loss
  • Self injury

  • Anxiety
